Bee'ah, a Sharjah-based leading environment and waste management company, has pledged the donation of Dh500,000 for Syrian refugees.
Bee'ah's donation was in response to 'The Big Heart Campaign for Syrian Refugee Children', which was launched last week by Sheikha Jawaher Al Qasimi, wife of H. H. Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council member and ruler of Sharjah, and Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, in celebration of the World Refugee Day, observed on June 20th every year.
The company has already raised sixty thousand dirhams in an internal donation drive.
Chairman of the board of Bee'ah, Salim bin Mohammed Al Owais, thanked Sheikha Jawaher for her commitment to efforts to alleviate the suffering of Syrian refugees.
