Austria – Floods (National Authorities)

As of 11 June, the water levels of the rivers are further declining and cleanup efforts are ongoing in the flooded areas; operational measures are still focused on the area along the River Danube in Niederösterreich.

Czech Republic – Floods (Czech Civil Protection, Czech Ministry of Environment)

The situation in Czech Republic has stabilized and water levels are expected to decrease or continue decreasing in all regions. As of 11 June, 3rd degree activities are maintained in Ústecký, Středočeský and Prague. In Středočeský, most of the evacuated people are returning to their homes.

Germany – Floods (German Civil Protection, Local Media)

The situation along Danube is slowly improving, except in some locations in Baden-Württemberg, southern Germany, where it had increased again due to the recent rains. As of 12 June, the situation along Elbe remains problematic. The peak of the flood is located between Wittenberge and Dömitz, northern Germany. In Sachsen red alert remains in place for counties Meißen, Nordsachsen and Sächsische Schweiz. Water levels are falling slowly.

Hungary – Floods (Hungarian Disaster Management, Local Media)

According to the Hungarian National Disaster Management Department (as of 11 June), Danube reached its peak at Paks (Tolna county, southwestern Hungary) on 11 June. In the same county, according to local media reports, the residents of Báta were asked to evacuate their village. The flood wave is expected in Baja (Bács-Kiskun county, southern Hungary) on 12 June and in Mojacs (Baranya county, south-western Hungary) on 13 June, after which it will continue past the borders of Hungary. As of 11 June, in the northern counties of Győr-Moson-Sopron, Komárom-Esztergom and in northern Pest, a large decrease in the water levels of Danube was observed, prompting evacuated people to start returning to their homes.

Serbia – Floods (National Authorities, Serbian Government)

In the next four days the water level of Danube is expected to increase. As of 11 June, the water levels in the upper part of Danube, near the border with Hungary, have increased. The peak is expected in Apatin (West Bačka) on 13/14 June.
