Update 18/11/2013 Philippines: emergency.lu providing communication services in Ormoc and interview with Guy Bley
After providing connectivity to the Tacloban Town Hall and the Tacloban stadium, a second emergency.lu Rapid deployment kit is now on-line in Ormoc. It has been installed today by volunteers from the Luxembourg Civil Protection on the roof of the Ormoc City Hall and is providing free internet and voice services to the humanitarian community in the town. A small internet café will be set up tomorrow at the City Hall.
A third terminal is planned to be set up tomorrow in Guiuan.
Both deployments are part of an IHP (International Humanitarian Partnership) mission in support of OCHA.
