OVERVIEW
To date, the Syria ERF has received $50 million in contributions, of which $40 million (80%) have been allocated. Through ERF funding, UN agencies, national and international NGOs and the Red Cross have reached more than 7 million people since 2012. Humanitarian assistance funded through the ERF has primarily focused on emergency shelter and non-food items, water, sanitation and hygiene, health, multi-sector support to refugees and food security.
Just over 50% of the funds have been allocated to projects in Syria while some 24% has been allocated to Lebanon, 20% to Jordan, and 6% to Iraq.
