A. SITUATION REPORT:
It has been 21 days since the disaster hit Uttarakhand. The early phase of emergency and rescue is now over. The arrival of monsoon in the hilly districts earlier this week possesses serious challenges to the on-going relief and response actions. On the request of the State Government a team of UNDMT, Sphere India and IAG, Uttarakhand members are conducting a rapid need assessment in the worst affected districts.
